Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share with you this design I did. It's actually for a nail art contest  I entered & the theme is Spring using pastel colors (white, silver & gold polishes are also allowed). I am excited because it's been a long time since I entered a nail art contest! I gave up on them for awhile because most of them choose their winners based on who has the most votes which basically turns into a popularity contest more than focusing on the actual nail design. I can't keep up with those, lol, but I like this contest because the host will be choosing the winner so don't have to worry about any shenanigans, lol! I also love the theme of this contest, because I love Spring designs & pretty pastels! This is the design I came up with because when I think of Spring I think of pretty flowers!!!    Hey guys! Today my post is a little different than usual because the nails below are not mine, they are my friend's nails! She recently asked me if I could teach her to do nails so she came over the other day & I introduced her to nail stamping! I think nail stamping is a great, fun & easy technique for those who are just getting into nail art. She absolutely loved it! It took only a few tries for her to get the hang of it & she was a pro! After a little practice we went for a full mani & this is the design we came up with! She did most of it herself & did a fabulous job!!! She loved them & even text me the next day saying how she can't stop looking at her nails! I'm sure all you fellow nail artists can relate to that, I know I can! For those who do not know who I am speaking of, Talia Joy was an adorable, upbeat, peppy 13 year old beauty vlogger who passed away from cancer last week. She was an inspirational girl who did not let her illness bring her down & she definately made her mark in the beauty world. Not only was she beautiful on the outside with her lovely makeup tutorials, fierce nails & extensive makeup knowledge, but she was beautiful on the inside! Hey everyone! I hope all is well! Spring is in the air & Summer is right around the corner, yey! I wanted to capture that with beautiful bright colors & blooming flowers! First I applied a light teal polish to my nails, followed by some swipes of lavender polish. Then I stamped on a Spring/Summer appropriate pattern followed by some pretty white flowers to complete the look! I just love this color combo, so bright & summery! Hey guys! I hope all is well! I got some nail stamping image plates from Born Pretty Store to review for you today. They are the octagon QA series plates. I got QA3, QA37, QA11, and QA39. I posted a picture below to show you what they all look like. I will be doing a seperate review & nail art design for plate QA39. I used plates QA3, QA37, & QA11 for the nail art design below & also featured a video nail art stamping tutorial along with it so you can see how to achieve this look and also so you can see me in action using these plates.    Hey guys! I have another Konadicure to share with you today! I tried to do something a little different using color combinations that I never used before. I think the colors actually worked well together, the gold kind of gave this a nice royal feel.    To do this design I first painted a clear base coat. I then painted on my teal polish to just the corner ends of my nails. I painted "The Gold & The Beautiful", which is a clear polish with tons of gold glitter, on to the remaining section of my nails. I stamped my design from plate M63 over just the teal section of my nails, then I stamped my design from plate M57 on to just the gold section of my nails. Then I created a stripe with my gold nail art paint between the two designs & added a clear top coat. Hey guys! This is a design I pulled from my archives, I call it Purple Purrfection because of the kitty featured on my ring finger! This is a rather simple design to do featuring multiple konad plates. First I painted on my purple base color, then I stamped a full nail pattern from Konad plate M60 on to each nail, applying in a diagonal direction across only half the nail. In the upper corner area where there was no pattern I chose different random images to stamp on to each nail. Then I took my Silver nail art paint & painted a diagonal line right across my nail, dividing the pattern from the images. That really completed the look & added a nice sparkle to it. Hi everyone! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so it's time to pink it up!!! I know, I know, October is almost over, I meant to post this sooner but I've been a little busy, but it's better late than never! Besides this is an important cause that should be remembered all year round because unfortunately it affects so many women. Ladies, remember to be aware, educate yourselves, learn the symptoms, know your body, do self breast exams every month & see a doctor asap if you notice anything abnormal! Since there's no real way to prevent breast cancer it's important to stay on top of things because early detection can help! My thoughts & prayers go out to all those affected by Breast Cancer. Hey guys, I'm a little late with this post but September is PCOS & Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) is a condition that affects 10-15% of women, it is the leading cause of Infertility and can cause other conditions such as Diabetes & Heart problems to name a few. I did these nails to bring awareness to this condition as it is something that does not get much attention but can be very depressing and difficult for women that have it. This design is also to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness. Ovarian Cancer is a very serious condition that can be fatal. It's so important to educate yourselves and know the symptoms aswell as bring awareness so that oneday perhaps there will be a cure! The teal ribbon is the symbol for both of these causes & this design is dedicated to bring awareness for both causes & my prayers go out to all the women affected by these conditions. Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the sad terrible tragedy that struck 9/11. This tragedy especially hits close to home because I am from NY. I wanted to do a special patriotic design for this day to show American pride and that "United We Stand". I named them Freedom nails after the Freedom Tower that is being built at Ground Zero.
