Hey guys! I just wanted to share with you this black & white themed nail art design I did, inspired by the dress in the picture. I used Konad stamping plates for the animal print but you could pretty much use any brand animal print stamping plates to achieve this look or you can hand paint it! I did a video tutorial along with this so please check it out and subscribe to my youtube channel! Thanks for stopping by! Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I did a post, been a little busy, hope all is well with everyone. For this design I did a gradient effect by first patting on a white polish base with an eyeshadow sponge applicator. (The sponge applicator really helps to create a nice gradient effect; it's an easy way to fade colors into one another to create an almost airbrushed look. A makeup sponge could also be used.) I then patted on silver polish diagonally across the nail with the sponge & then patted on pink polish diagonally, going the opposite direction as the silver so that the silver & pink criss-cross each other right at the center of the nail. (It's ok if some of the white base shows, it adds to the effect.) Then I took a very light glittery silver shade & patted a very small amount right in the center of the nail where the silver & pink polishes meet to create a more blended & highlighted effect. I will be entering this in OC Nail Art's Valentine Contest in which we had to create both a Valentine's Day themed manicure & pedicure utilizing only Konad materials (except for the base coat). Hey guys, just wanted to show you another Christmas design I did. First I painted a white base, then I painted on red tips & then Konaded a design on the tips using Konad White Special Polish. I painted a glittery silver stripe at the base of the tips & then added some reindeer water decals. This is only the 2nd contest I have ever entered & for both contests I came in 2nd place which I think is pretty good for just starting out. For this contest I won 5 konad plates of my choice! Perfect for an konaddict like me, lol. Yeyy! : )
