COLOR CLUB SWATCHES HAUL AND FULL REVIEW
Hey everyone! Today I will be sharing a review and swatches of my newest Color Club polishes that I got from www.enospring.com! They have the latest Color Club Collections including the 2012 & 2013 Halo Hues Collections & the Spring/Summer 2013 Fiesta & Kaleidoscope Collections! At the time of this post they are selling the Halo Hues polishes $7 each (good deal!) and $39 per collection. The Fiesta & Kaleidoscope polishes are $5 each & only $24 per collection! Plus, free shipping in the US over $30 & the shipping was superfast! I decided to get some polishes from a few different collections so that I can compare & share with u!
Since holographic polishes are all the rage as of late, 5 of the polishes I got are holographic polishes from the 2012 & 2013 Halo Hues Collections. All of them applied like a dream! They glided onto my nails smoothly and I didn’t experience any streaking or bubbles. The formula is a great consistency, not too thick, not too thin. I did notice that the polishes from the 2012 Halo Hues Collection seemed a little thicker than the 2013 collection, but both were equally as beautiful & applied effortlessly. And the holographic effects do not go unnoticed! The holo adds such a beautiful dimension to the polish, especially when the light hits it. Each polish shines with a rainbow of color flecks including yellow, blue, green, & red. The formula dried quickly and was easy to remove with polish remover. The polish applied true to color & opaque in just two coats. I actually just applied one coat in my swatches to show you just how pigmented these polishes are. And these swatches are all of the polishes alone, no top coat.
Color Club Kismet (2013 Halo Hues Collection) – It’s interesting because I have seen pics of Kismet on the internet and I was under the impression it was a goldish color, but it’s actually a nice light olive green, though it can appear gold depending on how the light hits it. It’s a beautiful color & has such a beautiful holo effect.
Color Club Cosmic Fate (2013 Halo Hues Collection) – I was nicely surprised by this color & so happy I got it. From pictures I have seen I was afraid it was going to be too orange, but that’s not the case at all. It’s actually a beautiful light coppery shade. Its such a classy shade to me, so similar to one of my favorite eyeshadows from my coastal scentals shimmer palette, minus the holo aspect, which adds such a beautiful shimmery dimension. In dimmer lighting I noticed that it appeared to look like a rosy pink tone.
Overall I am very pleased with these polishes. Experiencing the holographic polishes in person has made me want to get the entire collections; they’re just so gorgeous! They apply true to color yet are iridescent in the sense that each polish shade appears to transform depending on different lighting & angles. The holographic effects are noticeable, complex, & multi-dimensional! These polishes are fun to play with aswell! : )
I put together a video of these swatches for all my youtubers. I will also be posting a nail art design featuring these polishes on my blog next week, but you can get a sneak peak if you check out the video below! : )
