Hey guys! Today I am doing a review of Pure Ice's New Year, New Hue Collection! This collection consists of 7 shades and a matte top coat! According to Pure Ice "the collection gives the Pure Ice™ girl a selection of colors that allows her to play with color and texture to create looks straight off the runway – the ultimate way to get the look with the swipe of a brush. Whether it’s feminine & sweet, ultra glam, or rocker chic, the New Year, New Hue collection has an offering of shades to achieve any mood." I would have to agree with that description as this collection has a nice variety of polish types including 2 glitzy glitter polishes , 3 jelly tints, a cream polish, a frosty champagne shade and a matte top coat so you can really switch up your look!
Doll Face: (2 coats) I really like this shade. It is a soft cream peach shade, opaque in just 2 coats. I think this is a perfect shade to welcome in Spring time.
Pure Ice Dollface
Poppin' Bottles - I love this one! It's a sheer silver pearl glitter polish with silver hex glitter and a beautiful gold iridescent finish! Perfect polish to bring in the new year! I personally think it looks best layered over a solid polish. (3 coats over Dollface)
Pure Ice Poppin' Bottles (over Dollface)
Flawless: This is a frosty champagne shade with a soft metallic finish. Opaque in just 2 coats.
Pure Ice Flawless
Frost Finish Matte Top Coat - This is a wonderful matte top coat. Works great! (2 coats over Flawless) : )
Pure Ice Frost Finish Matte Top Coat (over Flawless)
What's the Splatter - Clear polish with different sized white & black hex glitter. I think this polish gives a nice effect when layered over a solid color base polish. (3 coats over Flawless)
Pure Ice What's The Splatter (over Flawless)
Purple Haze Color Hint - A tinted purple jelly with glitter. This polish really has a jelly like texture when applying. I just can't seem to pull off jelly polishes, lol. I personally think jelly polishes look best on shorter nails and so I prefer these jelly shades over a white or colored polish base. (2 coats, the middle & rings nails are 2 coats over white polish)
Pure Ice Purple Haze Color Hint
Rosy Glow Color Hint - Now this shade has me a little perplexed, lol. It is named "Rosy Glow" and described as a Pink Glitter Tint. In the stock photo it appears pink, but in person it looks orange to me. There was no shade name on my bottle so I literally googled to make sure I had the right shade, lol. I was only able to find one other swatch of Rosy Glow but it looked just like the one I have. So I am assuming I have the right polish and if that's the case then my description of this is a tinted orange jelly polish with glitter : P (2 coats, the middle & rings nails are 2 coats over white polish)

Blue Hue Color Hint- A tinted blue jelly polish with glitter. (2 coats, the middle & rings nails are 2 coats over white polish)

Overall, I enjoy this collection. You can play around with the different textures, mix, match & layer shades to create a variety of different looks. These polishes are inexpensive, retailing for just a $1.97 each at Walmart locations and Walmart.com. I also love that Pure Ice polishes are free of formaldehyde, toluene and DBP! : )

Hey everyone! This is just a quick post to show you this french tip design I did using nail art paint & a dotting tool! I call them diva tips! I love french tip designs, unfortunately I don't get to do them too often because I prefer to do nail tip designs when my nails are at a longer length, but that's not always easy to achieve because I always end up breaking a nail or two before I get to my desired length, so frustrating, lol. Anyways, I hope you like! I did a video tutorial along with this (one of my first video tutorials so please be nice, lol). And please subscribe to my youtube channel! Thanks! : ) http://youtube.com/deriniti Zoya Sweet, Confetti Hint of Pink, Kiss Nail Art Paint: Black, White & Silver Glitter, Color Club Nail Art Lacquer Pink Please "Like" & Subscribe! : ) XOXO, Deriniti
Hey guys! Every once and awhile I get inspired to recreate designs that I come across by other nail artists & this is one of those re-creations. If you follow nail art, especially on youtube, then chances are you have heard of Love4Nails, she has lovely designs & tutorials. I came across a design she did similar to this & I just had to try it! I tweeked the design a bit to fit my liking & to make a little different, but I still like to give credit where credit is do. This design was definately not easy to photograph because of the chrome polish, sooo shiny, but very pretty in person! : ) M57 - Wet N'Wild French White Creme, LoveMyNails Rosebud, Konad Black Special Polish XOXO, Deriniti
Hey guys! This is just a quick post to share with you my birthday manicure! I wanted something glittery & fun and this is what I came up with! I entered this mani in a nail art contest where the theme was "Bling in the Glitz and Glam" and I won first place! So excited because it has been awhile since I have entered any nail art contests! Not sure what I won yet, it's a surprise! How exciting! : ) The stamping plate I used is from Born Pretty Store 's first series of new stamping plates (Born Pretty 01-10). I got this series when it first came out. Some of the full nail images from this collection were too small for my long nails BUT I have noticed that Born Pretty Store has made improvements to this collection and made the images larger now. The old plates with the smaller images say "Born Pretty" followed by the plate number, the new ones say "BP" and then the plate number. I think it's great that they improved the plates because they h
