Hey guys! This is just a quick post to show you another mani/pedi combo I did for a Spring themed Konad contest! Hope you like!     Hey guys! Welcome to my new & improved page! I finally stopped procastinating and gave My Pretty Nailz a makeover!!! Do you likey? Hope so!!!     Now on to the nails! For this next design I wanted to create somewhat of an airbrushed look, with one color gradually fading into another. To do this I used eyeshadow sponge applicators to make a nice gradient effect. First I applied some white polish to a clean applicator and simply patted the color on to my entire nail. I did this to each nail. Then I took my blue polish (the colors I used are listed below) and applied some to the applicator and patted it in a diagonal line across my nail starting from the lower corner going across to the opposite upper corner. (It doesn't have to be perfect) Then I took my pink polish & patted it on just as I did the blue except I had the pink going in the opposite direction as the blue so the colors criss cross. It's ok for some of the white base to show as it adds to the effect. The

     Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I posted a new design, been a little busy plus I broke a couple nails, grrr, I hate when my nails are uneven length! Lol. Anyways, this is a quick random design I did a couple months ago with my striper polishes & dotting tools over a chrome basecoat. It was pretty simple to do, not perfect but I think it came out ok. Probably could have came out better but the striper polishes tend to thicken up pretty quickly & I was too impatient to close them & shake them up for a bit to thin them out between each nail use. Sometimes now when I use striper polishes I add a little acetone polish remover to the bottle & shake it up so that the polish will stay thinner for a longer amount of time, it seems to help.      Also, off subject, but I just wanted to take the time to say my prayers go out to Japan & the victims of this unfortunate & tragic event. May God be with them & bless them through this difficult time &

Hey guys, this is just a quick update on one of the designs I posted a couple weeks ago. I had entered it in OC Nail Art's Valentine's Themed Mani/Pedi Contest & I just found out last night that I won! I'm so happy cause I never won anything before, plus all the entries were wonderful so I really didn't expect to win! I won a $100 gift certificate to OC Nail Art's website which is my favorite place to get my Konad stuff from so I'm very excited to get some new Konad goodies! I'm definately planning to get those 2 new image plates Konad released recently so look out for those designs! Hey guys! This is a mani I did for a contest I entered a couple weeks ago. The challenge was to create a nail design using a strange or unusual stamping plate image. I thought that was a really good & unique contest idea and it was also a great excuse for me to use a plate image I normally wouldn't use. I chose to do a design featuring the octopus image off of chez-delaney's H19 plate. If it wasn't for this contest I don't think I would have ever used it, but I actually think it came out kind of cute! Lol, hope you like!
