Easy Beginner Peach Spring Summer Flowers Nail Art Stamping Design Tutorial

Image
Hey guys! This is just a quick post to share with you this easy & fun Spring design I did. I just recently got this new peachy shade by Sally Hansen & it's so pretty, I just had to do a design with it! I have been pretty busy lately & also my nails haven't been in the best shape (I broke 3 nails in 1 week!!!). So due to those reasons I just wanted to do a super quick design, nothing too intricate or time consuming and this is what I came up with. It was super easy to do, it's great for beginners & I think they came out really cute. I hope you like! I included a short video tutorial for this look below so check it out & please subscribe to my youtube channel if you haven't already! : ) Also, I have heard how great Sinful Colors Snow Me White is for stamping so I picked it up and I stamped one hand with Konad White Special Polish & one hand with Sinful Colors Snow Me White and you can barely notice the difference! I'm impressed because Snow

Easy Easter Spring Leadlight Flowers Nail Art Design, Video Tutorial and BPS Stamping Plates Review

Image
Hey guys! This is a quick post to share with you this nail art stamping design I did using some new stamping plates I got from Born Pretty Store ! These plates stamp beautifully and the images are perfect for Spring/Summer! These plates are also great for leadlight stamping! For those who are not familiar with "leadlight" stamping, it is basically when you stamp an image on your nail and then color the image in with a tinted/jelly nail polish. For this design I created my own leadlight polish! I created a video tutorial below so you can learn how I achieved this look! I hope you like! I included links to the products I used below. Hot Half & Half Nails with Spring Flowers, Holographic Highlights and BPS Rhinestones Review, Nail Design & Video Tutorial

Image
Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you a fun and easy nail art design I did. I am also doing a quick review of these new rhinestones I got from Born Pretty Store that I used on the silver nails of my design. When I saw these on the BPS website I was eager to try them as they are quite different than your standard rhinestone. They came in a small rhinestone wheel that consisted of 200 dark round & heart shaped rhinestones and white leaf shaped rhinestones. They are described as "black" and "white" but the "black" ones are not really black. They are a very dark shade that is hard to describe because they have a beautiful iridescent finish that reflects different colors. I noticed that they seem to vary a little in their shades. Some appear more of a deep purple or pink, while others appear more bluish or yellowish. The white ones have a pretty iridescent pearl like finish. I really enjoyed these rhinestones. They are very pretty, unique, good quality an

Golden Hearts 3D Nail Art Tutorial and Born Pretty Store Stamping Plates BP L001-L008 Collection Review

Image
Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing Born Pretty Store's L001-L008 Stamping Plate Set. I really love this set! There are 8 rectangle plates in this set that consist of beautiful stamping patterns & images. They are mostly full nail image patterns and the images are nice & big so they're great for those with longer nails. These plates are great quality. They are etched properly & stamp beautifully. They also have a sturdy hard pink backing so no need to worry about sharp edges, plus it gives the plate a nice unique look. There are sooo many pretty patterns to choose from that it's a little overwhelming, lol. For this design I chose a pattern that happened to match some 3d nail art stickers that I also got from Born Pretty Store. Check out the video tutorial below to see how I achieved this look. I hope you like! I included the links to the products I used below. I got the rings from BPS aswell, they are so cute! Get 10% off your BPS order with coupon code: TJL91

Pure Ice New Year, New Hue 2015 Collection - Review and Swatches

Image
Hey guys! Today I am doing a review of Pure Ice's New Year, New Hue Collection! This collection consists of 7 shades and a matte top coat! According to Pure Ice "the collection g ives the  Pure Ice™  girl a selection of colors that allows her to play with color and texture to create looks straight off the runway – the ultimate way to get the look with the swipe of a brush. Whether it’s feminine & sweet, ultra glam, or rocker chic, the  New Year, New Hue  collection has an offering of shades to achieve any mood." I would have to agree with that description as this collection has  a nice variety of polish types including 2 glitzy glitter polishes , 3 jelly tints, a cream polish, a frosty champagne shade and a matte top coat so you can really switch up your look! Doll Face : (2 coats) I really like this shade. It is a soft cream peach shade, opaque in just 2 coats. I think this is a perfect shade to welcome in Spring time.  Pure Ice Dollface Poppin' Bot

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Review and Swatches

Image
Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing for you Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. Now this is my first time trying gel polish. I have always stayed away from gel polish because I tend to change my nails a lot and can't deal with the long removal process. I am also not fond of having to cure gel under special lights and all that, lol. So with that being said, I am really excited about Sally Hansen Miracle Gel! It is just a two step process that requires no light! You just apply 2 thin coats of miracle gel color and then 1 coat of the special Miracle Gel Top Coat and then let natural light do the rest! It dries quickly, has a beautiful shine and is easily removed with nail polish remover. Another great thing about this collection is that these polishes do not require a base coat! According to Sally Hansen, it also gives up to 14 days of color & shine but I didn't wear for that long because like I said earlier, I am always changing up my nails, lol. Here's how Sally Hansen describe

Birthday Bling Nail Art Design and Video Tutorial and BPS Series Stamping Collection 01-10 Review

Image
Hey guys! This is just a quick post to share with you my birthday manicure! I wanted something glittery & fun and this is what I came up with! I entered this mani in a nail art contest where the theme was "Bling in the Glitz and Glam" and I won first place! So excited because it has been awhile since I have entered any nail art contests! Not sure what I won yet, it's a surprise! How exciting! : ) The stamping plate I used is from Born Pretty Store 's first series of new stamping plates (Born Pretty 01-10). I got this series when it first came out. Some of the full nail images from this collection were too small for my long nails BUT I have noticed that Born Pretty Store has made improvements to this collection and made the images larger now. The old plates with the smaller images say "Born Pretty" followed by the plate number, the new ones say "BP" and then the plate number. I think it's great that they improved the plates because they h

Striking Glitz n Glam Gold Studded Nail Art Design Tutorial featuring New Nail Stamping Technique

Image
Hey guys! This is a quick post to share with you this nail art design I did. My birthday is this month & I always love doing really glitzy, blinged out designs for my birthday! Now this mani is not my official birthday mani, but why not celebrate the whole month with some glitter & sparkle! And it just so happened that there's a nail art contest this month in a nail group that I'm in and the theme is "Bling in the New Year"! Perfect timing because I'm planning to be blinged out all month, lol. I tried a new stamping technique for this design and included a video tutorial so you can see how I achieved this look! I did not invent the technique and I'm not sure who came up with it but I believe I personally first saw this technique done in a youtube tutorial from "NailStamp4Fun". It's a really cool & easy technique! It's a similar concept to making nail decals, except I find this method to be much quicker. I hope you like the design

Easy Stained Glass Gradient Nail Art Design, Video Tutorial and Born Store Nail Art Studs Review

Image
Hey guys! Today is quick post to share with you this design I did. For the middle, ring & thumb nails I did an easy sponge gradient and stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM-208 to give it a stained glass effect. For the solid nails I used a tear drop nail art stud from a nail art stud wheel I got from Born Pretty Store . The wheel includes a variety of shapes including hearts, stars, leaf shaped, tear drops, textured squares, and textured circles in both silver and gold. These studs are easy to apply & the variety of shapes is so convenient for doing different nail art designs. I chose the teardrop stud for this design because I thought it looked nice with the design and also because I have never used teardrop studs on any of my designs before so I wanted to switch it up a little, lol. I also added a glow in the dark top coat, but couldn't capture it in pics. Hope you like! I included a video tutorial below so you can see how I achieved this look! Check it out! : ) P.S.

New Years Nail Art Design and Video Tutorial and Born Pretty Store Nail Stamping Plates Review

Image
Hey guys! Happy New Year! A few days ago I posted a design I did for New Years, you can click here to see that design or check out the video tutorial below! After a few days I decided to makeover that mani and this is the final result! I think I like this mani better than the original, but that's probably because I love the color pink, lol. For this design I used Born Pretty Store nail art studs and stamping plate. The stamping plate comes from their new collection of stamping plates. I have always liked Born Pretty Store's stamping plates, especially their octagon plates so I was excited to see they were coming out with new collections. This is the first plate I have tried from the new line and it stamps beautifully. Another great thing about these plates is they are very inexpensive and BPS offers free shipping worldwide! I will be testing out some more of their plates soon so stay tuned! Check out the video tutorial below to see me in action using these plates & to le
